We’re pleased to announce the upcoming release of “Prophetic Promises,” the new album from Lie Tears, a Bologna-based band returning to the Underground Symphonu roster after an absence of more than 25 years. Following the departure of their singer and guitarist, longtime band members Alberto (bass), Andrea (keyboards), and Claudio (drums) put the project on hold, but never abandoned it. With the addition of singer Alessandro and guitarist Riccardo, Lie Tears have completed nine songs featuring the band’s signature sound, a unique and delightful mix ranging from progressive rock to melodic hard rock to prog metal. A musical work that projects rays of sunshine into the depths of life’s abysses. A journey that leaves it up to the listener to decide whether we are the architects of our own destiny or whether everything is decided, like a jester’s mocking draw of cards.
“Prophetic Promises” is the result of the band’s professionalism and experience, which, in addition to writing the songs, personally oversaw the recording and artwork for the album.
The album, released as always in an elegant digipack format, will be available to fans of the band in early December 2025, with official distribution starting in January 2026.
