We are thrilled to announce our partnership with EmberGuile an American heavy metal band from Pensacola, Florida, for the release of their debut album, “Ascendant.”
The band was formed during 2022 by drummer / songwriter Michael Lukers. After writing songs for one album, the process quickly turned into two. Upon entering the studio to record, ‘Ascendant’, it was inevitable that Chad Bryson, Gavin Meagher and Wayne Vannoy would be included as the final pieces to the puzzle. Gavin’s poetic lyrics and soaring vocals, Wayne’s monster-like bass lines and Chad’s background in everything from heavier, shredding metal to jazz fusion guitar add the perfect combination of color needed to create and record unique expressions in their music. EmberGuile incorporates melancholy chord structures, choral vocal harmony, and a heavy backbone of drums and bass, culminating in dramatic feelings throughout the stories they tell. The bands musical and lyrical construction of each song is written to capture the listeners parallel experiences.
From the moment the listener pushes play on EmberGuile album, “Ascendant”, they are transported. Opening with eerie, distorted sounds of harpsichord and organ, the band sets the mood for the metal juggernaut that slams its way throughout the album and into your memory. A thunderous rhythm attack, combined with anthem-style vocal delivery and driving, technical guitars, brings the listener into the EmberGuile world of parallel experiences throughout “Ascendant”.
