Dead Soul was born in 2005 as a Bay-Area sounding Thrash metal band with modern extreme metal influences.
The band released its first demo “Breathing the Madness” in 2006, followed by a second one called “Purified in Blood”, released in 2007.
Several line-up changes slowed down the band’s live activity and composition a bit but in 2010 the band finally found the right musicians to go ahead and bring back the live activity with full force.
In 2012 Dead Soul recorded their debut full length album called “Planning your Funeral”, consisting of 8 bonecrushing modern thrash metal songs.
Mastered in New Sin Studios (White Skull, Eldritch, Labyrinth, Domine, Vision Divine and many others…), “Planning Your Funeral” is an overdose of crushing modern and technical Thrash Metal, while still keeping in touch with the old school.
